Rules

Generalities

  1. The weighting is done as follows: three (3) points for a win, one (1) point for a draw, and zero (0) point for a loss;
  2. If two teams tie in the ranking, the following criteria will be used to tie break: the team’s overall score, head-to-head, points difference, and then the draw.

  1. If some emergency or exceptional matters occur, urgent and immediate decisions are taken according to the concerned case.

Teams League

  1. Twenty (20) teams, each named after one of the Premier League – or Championship – teams;
  2. Each team includes eight (8) players, with each team having a Manager.
  3. Each Team Manager is committed to:
    • Open a Classic League on the game site and add his team’s players;
    • Present a list of the names of his team’s players (first and last name), as well as the position of each one of them.
  4. Each player is committed to:
    • Open an account on the game with e-mail, not using Facebook;
    • Give login information to his Team Manager if he can’t, for some reason, continue to play or because he will be absent for a while;
    • Writing his name clearly in his account.

  1. Each Team Manager is obligated to select a Captain for each Gameweek separately;
  2. The Gameweek Captain is selected using a special form that is subsequently sent to Team Managers;
  3. The selection takes place before the deadline or else it won’t be taken into consideration.
  4. Gameweek Captain’s points are doubled and added to the team’ score in that week;
  5. If the Team Manager is unable to act, one of his team players shall act on his behalf, provided that officials are informed.

  1. Each team has the right to unlimited transfers before the season starts;
  2. There are no changes during the season other than those approved by the officials.

  1. If a player is changed without notifying the officials, the team is permanently dismissed, its results are withdrawn and considered a loser, flat rate, in all its next matches.
  2. If the Gameweek Captain is not selected, the penalties are as follows:
    • First and second time: the Gameweek Captain is the lowest scorer player;
    • Third to fifth time: three (3) points hit in addition to the first penalty;
    • Sixth and last time: the team is permanently dismissed, its results are withdrawn and considered a loser, flat rate, in all its next matches.

Teams Cup

  1. All Premier League and Championship teams qualify for the Teams Cup.
  2. The cup starts at Gameweek 24.

The competition is divided into eight (05) rounds, represented as follows:
  1. Group Stage:
    • 40 teams, 8 groups, 16 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 24 to Gamewwek 27.
  2. Round of 16:
    • 16 teams, 2 legs, 8 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 29 and Gamewwek 30.
  3. Quarter-finals:
    • 8 teams, 2 legs, 4 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 32 and Gamewwek 33.
  4. Semi-finals:
    • 4 teams, 2 legs, 2 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 35 and Gamewwek 36.
  5. Final:
    • 2 teams, 1 winner.
    • Gameweek 38.

In the knockout phase, teams play against each other over two legs on a home-and-away basis, except for the one-match final.

  1. If a cup match is drawn, then the FPL Head-to-Head tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found.

  1. Any player transfer is a withdrawal.
  2. Any team can withdraw from the Teams Cup at its request.

Solo Cup

  1. In addition to last season title holder, Top one hundred (127) scoring players in both Premier League and Championship, between Gameweek 01 and Gameweek 10, will qualify for the Solo Cup.
  2. If there are more than one hundred (127) qualifiers then there will be a random draw amongst the lowest scorers to see who qualifies.
  3. The cup starts at Gameweek 11.

The competition is divided into eight (08) rounds, represented as follows:
  1. Preliminary Stage:
    • 128 players, 64 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 11 to Gameweek 16.
  2. Group Stage:
    • 64 players, 8 groups, 32 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 18 to Gameweek 24.
    • No players from the same team.
  3. Round of 32:
    • 32 players, 2 legs, 16 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 26 and Gameweek 27.
  4. Round of 16:
    • 16 players, 2 legs, 8 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 29 and Gameweek 30.
  5. Quarter-finals:
    • 8 players, 2 legs, 4 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 32 and Gameweek 33.
  6. Semi-finals:
    • 4 players, 2 legs, 2 qualifiers.
    • Gameweek 35 and Gameweek 36.
  7. Final:
    • 2 players, 1 winner.
    • Gameweek 38.
